Beaches

A visit to South Africa's white sand beaches is a must. We recommend Clifton Beach because it is usually filled with people and does not have too many rocks. Other great beach spots include Cosy Beach Vista, Clifton, and Camps Bay.

Don't forget to visit Muizenberg beach. Since this beach is a bit farther away from the center of Cape Town than the other spots, you'll want to take the train. Even though it's a bit less convenient, a visit to Muizenberg beach is worth it and will enable you to see the iconic and brightly colored life guard towers.

Vineyards

Rated one of the top locations in the world for wine, Stellenbosch is worth the forty minute trip from Cape Town. Get a group of your friends or trip companions together and plan to visit five different vineyards in a day. You should hire a single uber driver to drive you for the entire day, as that will be cheaper than getting separate ubers to and from each winery. Likewise, having a driver will offer you the flexibility to decide how long you want to stay at each vineyard.

Start with two vineyards in the morning and then enjoy a wine pairing with your lunch at Guardian Peak Winery & Grill. Don't miss a visit to Waterford Wine Estate because they do a special wine pairing with chocolates that were created to complement the wine. Other of the top wineries in Stellenbosch include Delaire Graff Estate, Jordan Wine Estate, and Rust en Vrede.

Restaurants with a View

Another great way to embrace the South African scenery is to enjoy a sunset dinner. The best place to do so is at Bungalow. Although this restaurant is definitely on the pricier side of Cape Town's offerings, it is worth the splurge. This iconic restaurant is always bustling with patrons during sunset. It is a beautiful spot and offers incredible views overlooking the Clifton Beaches. While the food is amazing, the cocktails are to die for.
