Three Things to Do in Dubai in 2016

Dubai is already home to a number of exciting activities and attractions that have people flocking to the city year-after-year. However, the city is continuously growing, meaning that there are exciting new activities and attractions popping up every year, all of which add to the city’s magic.

Want to know what you should do and what attractions you should visit while in Dubai this year? Look no further, as we are going to let you in on three of our favorite attractions and activities that the city has to offer:

Visit LEGOLAND® DUBAI

Opening in October 2016, LEGOLAND® DUBAI is a theme park based on the much-loved children’s building blocks. The park will include over 40 LEGO® themed rides, shows, and attractions, a mix of both indoor and outdoor attractions, six themed lands – including FACTORY, LEGO® CITY, IMAGINATION, KINGDOMS, ADVENTURE, and MINLAND, 15 000 LEGO® models, and over 60 million LEGO® bricks, making it any child’s dream. Sound like somewhere you and your family would like to visit? You can buy your theme park tickets in advance.

Go on a FlyBike Tour

Are you an adrenaline junkie? If so, you will enjoy feeling the wind in your hair while riding around the city on a FlyBike tour. Riders have the choice of a Honda Gold Wing 1800 bake, or trike from FlyBike, and you can either rent one and go at it alone, or be driven around on one of the company’s day, night or exclusive tours. There are a number of excursions – one of which includes a cultural day trip – that take riders all around Dubai, making it the perfect way to soak up the city’s sights and learn something new.

See a Show at The Dubai Opera House

This stunning attraction took three years to complete, and boasts a 2,000 seat, multi-format performing arts centre which is situated within The Opera District in Downtown Dubai. Here, a number of performances and events will take place, including: ballet, opera, theatre, conferences, and exhibitions. The Dubai Opera House was inspired by the architecture of traditional Arabian dhow boats.
