1. The culture
Yes, everything in Europe is super old and cultural. However, because Prague wasn't destroyed during World War 2, most of the city's architecture dates back to the 14th century and is so pretty. The town looks like it comes straight out of a story book.
Prague is so cheap. The most money you will ever spend on dinner is equivalent to $25 and will include a drink, salad, entrée and dessert. This makes it so much easier to go out for dinner and to try new places and foods.
3. The location
The Czech Republic is right in the middle of Europe. This makes traveling super easy. Most places in Europe are only an hour or so away by plane. Prague is also towards the center of the Czech Republic, so even traveling within the country isn’t that difficult
4. The nightlife
There is something to do every night of the week in Prague. Whether you like going to clubs with a bunch of other Americans, chill bars with mostly Czechs, or something in between, there is something for you every night of the week. Also, most places don’t have a cover charge for girls and if they do, it's at most $4.
5. The food
This one is a surprise. If you look up traditional Czech food, you may get scared. However, Prague has some really amazing restaurants. There’s everything from fancy Italian food to sushi and even some amazing vegetarian restaurants. Prague also does brunch very well on the weekends. You cannot forget about the Trdelník.
6. Getting Around
Despite being in Czech, the tram system in Prague is amazing. There are trams that run on the streets, as well as busses and an underground metro. There are many stops, so it is fairly easy to get just about anywhere in Prague.
